We held our first dissemination event in Europe, hosted by UID (Union of International Democrats)!
The event, organized by our project partner UID, targeted parents in Western Europe raising bilingual and multilingual children.
The program began with an opening speech by Mr. Kenan Aslan, President of UID. Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feyza Altınkamış, Education Coordinator at the Integration and Research Center of the Belgian Institute for Turkish Language, delivered a presentation titled "Home Language Turkish: An Added Value for Multilingual Children", in which she shared the findings of the Needs Analysis.
In the second part of the event, Dr. Harun İlçioğlu introduced the Language Tree Web Application. He presented its content, target audience, and features through an interactive demonstration.
The event attracted strong interest from Turkish families living abroad and once again underscored the growing need for digital educational materials to support the development and preservation of Turkish as a home language among multilingual children.
